At the working session, Chairman of the Quang Nam People's Committee Dinh Van Thu and Governor of Nagasaki Nakamura Houdou agreed with each other on a specific mechanism for issuing visas to agricultural trainees from Quang Nam working in Nagasaki.
According to Chairman Dinh Van Thu, the Quang Nam and Nagasaki staffs have been working actively to further implement the contents signed in Tokyo on June 5, 2017. The visiting of Nagasaki delegation to Quang Nam is the chance for strengthening the mutual understanding and the cooperative relationship between two localities. He also promised to keep on doing each specific content effectively.
The good management of the Red-seal ship model offered by Nagasaki is really significant for the propaganda about the Quang Nam - Nagasaki relationship. Quang Nam Chairman Dinh Van Thu also suggested Nagasaki introducing more about Quang Nam’s potentials and strengths to Japanese businesses and investors. Concurrently, the pilot project on water quality improvement by reducing and filtering wastewater in Quang Nam province should be speeded up.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Nakamura Houdou had a pity on the great losses and damages the Quang Nam people are suffering from natural disasters. He felt honoured to work with Quang Nam leaders for the lasting relationship between Quang Nam and Nagasaki. At present, Nagasaki is attracting labourers to working in agriculture; and Nagasaki businesses are looking for investment opportunities in Vietnam. Therefore, he hoped it is a good chance for Quang Nam labourers to work and practise advanced agriculture in Nagasaki and for Nagasaki investors to approach to Quang Nam.
