The project aims to create conditions for ethnic minority households who are poor and near-poor to have development capital sources; create jobs and increase income. After implementing the project, it’s expected to have 18-20 households escaping from poverty sustainably.
The project will support in breeding indigenous pigs and consumption, including: transferring technology application for 44 people of 22 households, 21 people living nears the project and 9 local staff; providing 100 breeding pigs (5 ones/household: 4 females and 1 male), food and barn materials. The project will be implemented from 2019 to 2021, with a total capital of more than 2.7 billion VND.
In addition, the project will support planting and consumption of polyscias fruticosa trees, including: transferring technology application for 40 people of 20 households benefiting from the project; providing 55,000 trees, ertilizer and biological products. The project will be implemented from 2019 to 2021 with a total capital of more than 700 million VND.
The beneficiates are 42 poor ethnic minority households in village 3, Tra Kot commune and Cao Son village, Tra Son commune, Bac Tra My district.
PPC assigned PPC to be responsible for organizing the implementation of projects, inspecting, managing, using the budget under the regulations. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Finance to monitor, guide and supervise the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee in the implementation.
