Ancient Lộc Yên Village recognised a national relic (18/09/2019)
On September 6th, Quang Nam held a ceremony to receive the National Monument of Loc Yen Ancient Village. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Dinh Tung - Vice Chairman of Quang Nam People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Head of the Provincial Party Committee of Propaganda and Education.

Ancient Loc Yen village is one of the ancient villages recognised national relics. This is a great honor of the people in Quang Nam in general and Tien Phuoc district people in particular.
The ancient village of Lộc Yên has been developed as a new destination in connection with the UNESCO-recognised world heritage sites of Hội An, Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary and the Chàm Island-Hội An world biosphere in the province.
After ups and downs of history, Loc Yen Village still retains the Vietnames traditional cultural identity.  Currently, Loc Yen village covers an area of 279ha. In the village, Villagers have preserved at least 60 old houses, gardens, gates and fences from previous centuries. The oldest house was built in early 1828, along with a water well located near the house's gate.
