The criteria of Vietnam National Brand products issued (07/12/2019)
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just issued Circular 33/2019 / TT-BCT regulating the system of criteria of the Vietnam National Brand Program, including quality, innovation and pioneering capacity.
 
The quality will include 5 contents: Applying and maintaining ISO 9001 quality management system (Quality Management System); apply and maintain an advanced management system (ISO 14001, SA 8000, VietGap, Global Gap ... or equivalent); announcement of product quality in accordance with law; investing to maintain product quality; quality awards. Each content has a maximum score of 60 points and a maximum total score of Criterion 1 is 300 points.
 
The innovation must include 14 contents such as: Business vision; core values ​​of the business; human resource development plan; brand vision; Brand Positioning; Trademark Protection. The maximum total score of Criterion 3 is 520 points.
 
The selection for Vietnam National Brand product is conducted as following. The rating scale is 1,000 points. The total number of points required for a product to achieve Vietnam National Brand is 650 points or more and each of the specified criteria reaches 60% or more.
