On June 6th, PPC held a regular meeting to review the first 5 months of 2020. Mr. Phan Viet Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.
Reported at the meeting, althought thethe province's socio-economy was still facing many difficulties due to the impact of the covid-19 epidemic, the socio-economic situation had many positive signs. It's shown the strong recovery compared to the previous months. 
Most of enterprises gradually return to the normal production pace but still slowly. The index of industrial production in May increased by 30.6% over the previous month.
After a period of social isolation, students came back to school. Services and ourism activities were opened, contributing to the recovery of tourism and trading. The total of retail purchase in May was VND 2.8 trillion, up 31.8% over the previous month.
The service's revenue  in May was about VND 215 billion, up 24.7% compared to the previous month; in which, education and training service increased the highest, nearly 92%; administrative and support services by 55%; personal and community service increased by 46.6%. Besides, the total number of visitors in May nearly 12 thousand turns, up 68.8% over the previous month.
Besides, the field of agriculture - forestry - fishery achieved many satisfactory results. The estimated rice is about 58.1 quintals / ha, an increase of 0.3 quintals / ha. Poultry production increased significantly due to good prices, controlled epidemics and stable consumption markets. In May, more than 12,825 tons were exploited, raising the value of fishing in the first 5 months to nearly 37,695 tons, up 4.2% over the same period last year.
In addition, credit institutions in the province focus on solving difficulties, implementing preferential credit programs with reasonable interest rates so that people and businesses can access capital and recover production and business. 
PPC has also directed to review and cut investment plans and reduce capital construction capital in 2020 for a number of projects to focus on prevention resources that minimizing the impact of Covid-19 epidemic, removing difficulties in production and business, ensuring social security in the province.
At the same time, focusing on resolving shortcomings and problems, speeding up the ground clearance, handing over clean ground to investors At the meeting, the delegates also discussed and assessed the situation, proposed solutions to recover economy after the epidemicespecially in the field of tourism, industry and trade, disbursement of public investment.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Viet Cuong suggested departments, agencies and localities to deploy some key tasks in the coming time: Focus on speeding up projects to welcome the Congress Party; take care of policy beneficiaries, implement regimes to support people affected by covid-19 epidemic; prepare for high school graduation exam; reviewing, grasping and promptly handling pressing people's complaints and complaints; well prepared contents for the upcoming People's Council meeting ...
At the meeting, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Le Tri Thanh also said that in order to preserve budget revenues and expenditures, the functions should review and advise the provincial People's Committee to issue a decision to adjust and extend the investment plan appropriately; olving difficulties for businesses through mobilizing from socialized sources; at the same time, proactively dealing with unemployment ...
