The shares of Industry-service-agriculture are 41.9% -39.9% -18.2% respectively. Export turnover reached over 20% / year. In the 2016-2020 period, the whole region has attracted more than 900 FDI projects with a total mobilized capital of more than 16 billion USD. The total implemented investment capital for development is nearly 2,366 billion dong. The rate of poor households decreases on average 2-3% / year. Over 95% of the rural population and 100% of the urban population have access to hygienic water.
At the conference, the reprenstative of the Minitry also pointed out some difficulties and problems such as:
- The growth momentum is still weak;
- The marine economy has not developed commensurate with its potential;
- Export has increased but the proportion is still low in the total export turnover of the country
- Budget revenue is not sustainable;
- The quality of human resources remains low;
- The poverty rate is still high compared to other regions of the country...
Speaking at the conference, the representative of Quang Nam Department of Planning and Investment said: Quang Nam province has suffered many negative impacts due to the impact of the Covid - 19 epidemic, especially automobile manufacturing and assembling industry; tourism-service, leading to a decline in growth.
