Visiting Tam Quang commune, Nui Thanh district, the Government leader asked for drastic efforts to clean up the environment and repair public facilities like schools and hospitals to serve local people's need.
He conveyed Party and State leaders’ sympathy to local residents and expressed his hope that local authorities and people will soon overcome consequences of the natural disaster.
On the occasion, he presented gifts to 30 households in Tam Quang commune, whose houses collapsed due to the impact of Molave, and visited storm victims at Quang Nam General Hospital.
Prime Minister proposed the Party Committee, the authorities of Quang Nam province, Nui Thanh district and Tam Quang commune to launch a round of clean environmental sanitation after the storm. The army and police forces urgently supported people to stabilize their lives early. In particular, it is necessary to accelerate the restoration of facilities in hospitals, schools and clinics to serve the people and to let children and students return to schools soon.
The Prime Minister also asked Quang Nam province and Nui Thanh district to spend resources from the central government, from aid sources to support the people to stabilize their lives early, to prevent people from starving or homeless.
The Prime Minister also expressed his wish that the authorities and local people suffering damage from floods and storms promote the tradition of self-reliance and proactively overcome the consequences.
Also in the morning of the same day, the Prime Minister visited victims of a landslide in Nam Tra My district who are being treated at a general hospital in Quang Nam province. Prime Minister asked the health sector of Quang Nam province to focus on medical examination and treatment fof free.
