On the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (october 13) , PPC organized a meeting with enterprises to honor and recognize their contribution to the socio-economic development of Quang Nam province.

The project “Building resilience to Natural hazards in Central Vietnam” is funded by The Project Phase III sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for five organizations including: Vietnam Red Cross/American Red Cross, Catholic Relief Services, Plan International, Save the Children and HelpAge International in Vietnam, of which the American Red Cross plays a coordination role.

PPC issued a document assigning departments, agencies and branches of districts, towns and cities that are implementing administrative reform to improve the criteria of "administrative modernization".

The Prime Minister assigned the ministries, branches and localities to urgently build and complete the public service portal, the ministerial- and provincial-level electronic one-stop information system to ensure the prescribed functions, connect and integrate with National public service portal and soon issue regulations on management and operation of these systems.

A conference on sustainable tourism development themed “Zero plastic waste tourism” took place in Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) on September 9 under supports from Quang Nam's People Comittee and UNESCO in Vietnam.

On September 8, Quang Nam provincial Party Secretary Phan Viet Cuong played host to the delegation from Nagasaki (Japan) to join the 20th anniversary of Hoi An and My Son as UNESCO World Heritages.

Quang Nam is expanding Ngoc Linh ginseng cultivation and developing tourism to improve the value of the precious herbal plant.
