Regarding to the Resolution 68, Quang Nam announced a reduction of the insurance premiums for occupational accidents and diseases for 3,012 units and enterprises, totaling 127,517 workers with an amount of nearly 42 billion VND. There are 642 laborers and children to be supported with the amount of more than 923 million dong.
In addition, there are 4 businesses borrowing capital to pay wages to stop working for 121 workers with a budget of more than 474 million dong; 1 enterprise borrowed capital to restore production and business more than 172 million dong.
Regarding to the Resolution 45, 429 freelance workers were supported with the amount of VND 835.5 million; There are 2,696 people in concentrated isolation receiving more than 2.1 billion VND.
Regarding the case of people facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, through a survey of the whole province, 29,165 households with 76,968 people need more than 1,380 tons of rice. The Provincial People's Committee has submitted to the Government, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs for consideration.
For about 3,000 workers returning from Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces who need to support vocational training, connect and solve jobs, the participants suggested that in addition to consulting and introducing jobs, Quang Nam need to support in training for those who do not have a job or support for capital borrowing to those who can develop production by themselves.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan suggested that relevant localities and branches must survey and make specific statistics on people to plan and implement policies. In order to properly solve it, it is necessary to know the needs of the employees, then proceed to develop an appropriate support plan.
At the same time, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs is requested to advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit a written request to branches and localities to survey and take responsibility for their statistics; advise the Provincial People's Committee a specific plan to promptly support the people and laborers.
