Quang Nam: Plan to welcome international visitors

The Government and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism approved and issued guidances to welcome international tourists back to Vietnam will create an opportunity for the smokeless industry to "wake up" after a long time.


In the last two weeks of November, Vietnam's tourism industry received good news when international tourist groups returned after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

On the afternoon of November 17, Flight VN417 of Vietnam Airlines from Seoul (Korea) with international passengers landed safely at Da Nang International Airport. After landing, the foreign tourists moved to Hoi An city (Quang Nam) for vacation according to a pre-registered schedule.

In Quang Nam, on November 15, two World Cultural Heritage sites in Quang Nam province, Hoi An ancient town and My Son heritage site, Duy Phu commune (Duy Xuyen district) officially opened to welcome international visitors. Accordingly, from November 15 to 30, 2021, it will open to welcome guests at My Son World Cultural Heritage site and attractions such as Hoi An ancient town, Tra Que vegetable village, Thanh Ha pottery village, Bay Mau coconut forest, Cham island. And on November 20, the first 50 international guests visited Hoi An ancient town.

In addition to experiencing cyclo walking around the old town, watching art shows, visiting cultural museums, visitors are especially interested in the special art program "My homeland Vietnam" which is meticulously prepared by actors and artists in Hoi An ancient town to serve visitors.

Then, on November 22, a group of international tourists visited the World Cultural Heritage My Son, in Duy Phu commune, Duy Xuyen district. After the welcome screen with artistic performances rich in Champa folklore, the international tourist group was moved to the core area of ​​My Son World Cultural Heritage by high-quality electric bus.

Welcoming international tourists back is a great determination and effort, especially in the context that the COVID-19 epidemic situation is still complicated, new cases across the country continue to increase in recent days Therefore, the prevention of epidemics, ensuring the safety of tourists is a top priority, especially for provinces and cities that are piloting to welcome international tourists.

Hoi An implemented many solutions such as: a plan to vaccinate for all people, attractive and reasonable tours for best experience. The city focuses on upgrading the quality of products and services to welcome tourists to Hoi An ancient town in the last months of the year and early next year.

The My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board requires all visitors to make a medical declaration at the ticket gate on the PC-Covid application software. For service staff, currently, 100% of staff have completed 2 doses of vaccine, ensuring conditions are ready to welcome guests.
