The exhibition will display evidence related to Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, including Documents issued by the Vietnamese feudal court from the 17th century to the early 20th century; 80 maps and 4 atlas selected from more than 260 maps and atlas related to the issue of Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos; 102 publications published in Western countries from the 18th to the 19th century. The exhibition will also display historical photographs of the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagos during the French colonial period and the Republic of Vietnam period, as well as photographs of the life and activities of the military and people in the Truong Sa archipelago district. In addition, there are also research works by Vietnamese and international scholars published both domestically and internationally up to now.
This exhibition helps the people of Quang Nam province in general and Que Son district in particular to better understand Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, raise awareness, and inspire patriotism for the nation's maritime and island sovereignty among officials and people from all walks of life, especially the younger generation of union members, youth, students.
The publishing of historical documentation will help to confirm the undisputed sovereignty of Vietnam over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes.
