Attending the opening ceremony were the Vice President of the Vietnam Farmers' Association Dinh Khac Dinh; the Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, and Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet; Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Le Tri Thanh; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thi Thuy Dung; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu.

Speaking at the opening of the Fair, Ms. Le Thi Minh Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association said: The 5th Fair to introduce and promote agricultural products has a scale of 150 booths, with more than 400 OCOP products, typical industrial - rural products, traditional handicraft products, clean agricultural products, plant varieties, fertilizers, credit services, insurance, ... in Quang Nam province and of Farmers' Associations of provinces and cities in the Central - Central Highlands region. In addition, the Fair also has food booths, introducing to visitors and people typical dishes of provinces and cities in the Central-Tay Nguyen region. 

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Fair, Mr. Ho Quang Buu - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, affirmed that the 5th Fair to introduce and promote agricultural products and the 2024 Excellent Officials Competition will reap many successes, helping farmers and businesses connect supply and demand, link production and consume products more effectively and practically, meeting the needs, benefits, and trust of visitors and shoppers.

Immediately after the opening ceremony was the 2024 Excellent Officials Competition with more than 300 officials and members from 17 districts/towns/cities participating. This is a practical and useful activity to help the Association's officials, especially the grassroots officials, raise awareness and understanding of policies, mechanisms, policies, and issues related to agriculture, farmers, rural areas, and more importantly, the Association's officials' practice, study, demonstrate their capacity, skills, and methods in performing the Association's tasks.
