On October 15th, the Department of Information and Communication held a ceremony to award for pariticipants of the contest about My Son, Hoi An and Cham Island on the internet.

Reported from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Quang Nam tourism have attracted a large number of tourists because of the improved service quality and diversification of tourism activities.

The Ky uc Hoi An (Hoi An Memories), a 60-minute show on the history and development of Hoi An town received The Guide Awards 2019 at the Tourism Festival for being recognized as the best outdoor visual art performance in the country.

The My Son sanctuary in Quang Nam province was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site 20 years ago.

PPC has just decided to recognize the results of implementing the provincial science and technology project “Digitizing Hoi An ancient town based on 3D technology to preserve and introduce Vietnamese heritage to the world".

*Measures to preserve and uphold Quang Nam culture values were debated at a workshop held in the central province of the same name by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on September 20.

Within the framework of the 20th anniversary of UNESCO’s recognition of Hoi An ancient town and the complex of temples at My Son sanctuary as World Heritage Sites, and the 10th year anniversary Cu Lao Cham – Hoi An being recognized as a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, Quang Nam held pened an art exhibition themed "Cultural Heritage".

On September 8th, Quang Nam PPC and UNESSCO in Vietnam held an at an international workshop on "The role of he role of local communities in the preservation and promotion of the values of the world’s cultural heritage at Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary".
